This presentation is designed to help professionals become familiar with the diagnosis and treatment options for Parkinson’s Disease and to learn patient management strategies for moderate to advanced stages of Parkinson’s disease.

DR. NINA BROWNER IS A CLINICAL DIRECTOR AT THE MOVEMENT DISORDER CENTER AT THE UNC DEPARTMENT OF NEUROLOGY.  SHE IS ALSO CO-DIRECTOR FOR THE NATIONAL PARKINSON FOUNDATION CENTER OF EXCELLENCE AT UNC.  SHE DID HER MOVEMENT DISORDERS FELLOWSHIP AT THE COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY, NY AND HER RESIDENCY IN ADULT NEUROLOGY AT THE CLEVELAND CLINIC. SHE DIVIDES HER TIME BETWEEN PATIENT CARE AT THE CENTER OF EXCELLENCE AND RESEARCH STUDIES IN PATIENTS WITH PARKINSON’S DISEASE AND OTHER MOVEMENT DISORDERS.
